CGN Marketing & Creative Services last week named an interactive strategist to senior management to better compete for e-commerce business.
Philip Pyburn, 52, founding partner of both Tradewinds Technology Corp. in Topsfield, Mass., and IT strategy and research at the Ernst & Young Center for Business Innovation, Cambridge, Mass., joined the Boston shop as senior vice president and chief interactive officer, receiving an equity stake in Epsilon, CGN’s parent company in Burlington, Mass.
Pyburn’s credentials–a doctorate from the Harvard Business School, a master’s of science from MIT, author and adjunct professor of management at Brandeis–made him the ideal candidate to lead CGN’s development of an Internet professional services division to rival interactive agencies and consulting firms.
