Celestial Deems CME Its Cup of Tea

Celestial Seasonings, marketer of herbal and specialty teas, assigned its account to Campbell Mithun Esty in Minneapolis without a review.
The business had been at Dailey & Associates in Los Angeles. The Boulder, Colo., company spent nearly $4 million last year, according to Competitive Media Reporting. Annual spending is expected to significantly increase, possibly to $10 million, sources said, as new products are introduced.
Celestial Seasonings, known for its colorful packaging covered with age-old and new age philosophies, sells herbal, specialty, black and ready-to-drink teas. Sources said the company has been planning a winter campaign timed to the cold and flu season.–Trevor Jensen
