CEBA Nominates CHD for Grand Prize

ATLANTA Cole Henderson Drake said it has been selected as a finalist to compete against national shops in the Creative Excellence in Business Advertising Awards.

The independent Atlanta shop’s campaign for Delta Apparel will vie for the $25,000 grand prize against entries from Interpublic Group’s Carmichael Lynch, Publicis Groupe’s Fallon and Omnicom’s Martin/Williams, all of Minneapolis.

American Business Media’s CEBA Awards recognize the business-to-business advertising efforts from U.S. agencies. Winners will be announced at the CEBA Awards ceremony at the Tribeca Grill in New York next week.

CHD said its Delta Apparel “Unusually heavy T-shirts” campaign began in January 2002 and has appeared in magazines such as Impressions, The Counselor, Printwear and Wearables Business.

“We are excited about receiving this recognition, not only because of the grand prize,” said CHD creative director Chris Jacobs. “This shows that we can be just as creative in the business-to-business category as we can be in the consumer category.”

ABM produces print periodicals, Web sites, trade shows and other media targeted to various industry professionals. The New York company and its CEBA Awards were established in 1996.
