The U.S. Centers for Disease Prevention and Control has issued a request for proposal in search of a full-service agency to handle a campaign dealing with cancer.

The Atlanta-based government agency will begin reviewing proposals for the new account following its due date on July 8, said Susan Kiddoo, contract specialist at the client. The government organization hopes to reach a decision by the end of September. Kiddoo would not disclose spending for the five-year effort.

Ogilvy & Mather, Atlanta, most recently worked for the CDPC nationally, handling an AIDS awareness campaign for 10 years before government funding dried up.
