CDC IXIS: ‘Independent Thinking’

boston—A campaign for CDC IXIS Asset Management Advisors Group by the company’s in-house creative team introduces the platform, “Independent thinking.”

“The series of ads are designed to show that our group of advisers can provide a rich range of investment talent,” said George Pilibo sian, senior vp of marketing at the Boston company.

One execution shows a man standing at the top of a spiral staircase. “Ahead of the curve” is the headline. Copy states, “The problem. High investment minimums keep you from building a diversified portfolio of separate account strategies. The solution. The multiple-discipline portfolio.”

Another execution headlined, “Right here, right now” touts CDC’s real-estate services. “Real estate can be a smart diversification choice in today’s uncertain market,” the ad says. “[CDC] is a real estate investment specialist with a 20-year track record of combining hands-on real estate experience with capital markets expertise.”

An effort was made to “convey a sense of innovation, intelligence and independence in the ads,” according to Pilibosian.

CDC IXIS Asset Management Advisors is a subsidiary of Paris-based CDC IXIS Asset Management. The budget for the campaign is believed to be in the six figures.

Ads debut this month in financial publications such as Barron’s. Additional executions are expected to break in the next few weeks. Creative credits include copywriter David Goodsell and design director Claudine Ciccia.
