Cavoli Ascends at Lang/Durham

BOSTON Lang/Durham said it has elevated Eric Cavoli, a senior copywriter, to associate creative director and named him a principal of the independent marketing agency, along with co-founders Dean Lang and Jeff Durham.

Lang, president of the Farmington, Conn., agency, praised Cavoli’s ability to work smoothly with clients, vendors and staff along with his general, “managerial skills and business savvy.”

Prior to joining 20-person Lang/Durham five years ago, Cavoli worked at New York-based agency Nicholas-Forbes, as well as the in-house agency at Amerifit Nutrition.

“His dedication to his craft is infectious and his willingness to take a leadership role inspires people to push boundaries all the time. I’ve seen 20-year veterans that don’t possess the qualities that he has,” said Durham, the shop’s creative director.

Separately, Nancy Hemmerich and Renee Cormier have also been elevated to senior account executive and senior public relations account executive, respectively.

Lang/Durham claims approximately $20 million in billings with clients such as Naugatuck Savings Bank, PNC Bank, Timex and United Illuminating. Along with advertising, the agency also provides public relations, graphic design, interactive and media services.
