Carat Fusion Exec Jumps to Ad Network

NEW YORK Carat Fusion executive vice president John Durham has left the agency to join auto-focused ad network Jumpstart Media. Durham, 54, was in charge of business strategy at Aegis Group’s Carat.

He joined Carat Interactive last year from Pericles Communications, a shop he founded in 2003; it was dedicated to political interactive advertising.

Prior to starting Pericles, Durham worked at ad representation firm Interep Interactive and Winstar Interactive. He also founded the Bay Area Interactive Group, an Internet industry networking organization, of which he is president.

At Jumpstart, Durham will be president of sales and marketing, reporting to CEO Mitch Lowe. Durham for the past year had served on Jumpstart’s board of advisors.

San Francisco-based Jumpstart sells inventory on auto sites like Vehix and NADAguides.com.
