Orange Glo International has awarded its estimated $50 million creative and media account to Campbell Mithun in Minneapolis. The shop will create ads for all of the client’s brands: Orange Glo, Orange Clean, Kaboom and OxiClean. Previous efforts by McClain Finlon Advertising in Denver used spokesman Billy Mays to tout the brands’ effectiveness, often via long-form paid programming. CM’s first work is expected later this spring. Orange Glo International spent nearly $50 million on ads in the first 10 months of 2002, according to CMR.
