NEW YORK — Two Cablevision accounts have parted ways with their respective agencies, sources said. Optimum Online, handled by Foote, Cone & Belding in New York, may move to Red Tettemer, an agency in Narberth, Pa., that already handles Cablevision’s Comcast account, sources said. One source said FCB and the client could not agree on fees regarding the scope of work on the account. Sources said Cablevision also has decided to stop spending on Lightpath, a provider of B2B communications. That account was at Wieden + Kennedy in New York.According to CMR, Optimum Online spent $3 million in media last year. Through August of this year it has spent less than $1 million. Lightpath’s media spend was less than $1 million last year, and about $500,000 through August 2001.Executives at Wieden and FCB could not be reached for comment. A Red Tettemer executive said she did not know if the account was moving there. Cablevision executives did not return calls.Though small, Optimum Online is the third client to leave FCB this week. The New York office also parted ways with AT&T Business and FCB San Francisco parted ways with Major League Baseball.
