NEW YORK Cable Audit Associates, an auditing and consulting company serving the cable and satellite TV industries, has named veteran media executive Tom Sassos as its chairman.
Sassos, 51, is a partner of CAA’s operating unit, MediaAnalysisPlus; both companies are based in Denver. In his new role, Sassos will continue to be stationed in the company’s New York office, where he has been since leaving Mediaedge:cia and joining MAP last September. A member of CAA’s board since the company’s inception in 1986, Sassos replaces Alan Davis, one of CAA’s founders, as the group’s chairman.
