WASHINGTON, D.C. The George W. Bush campaign raised $47 million in the fourth quarter of last year and nearly $131 million for the entire year, said Ken Mehlman, the campaign manager for Bush-Cheney 2004.

The campaign raised $32 million from fundraising events, $14 million through direct mail and $1 million via the Internet in the fourth quarter, according to Mehlman. The campaign currently has $99 million in cash.

“We are continuing toward our goal of raising between $150 million and $170 million,” Mehlman said.
