NEW YORK Leo Burnett’s campaign for the Ad Council and Underground Railroad Freedom Center took home three prizes at last Friday’s New York Festivals Television and Cinema 2002 Advertising Awards ceremony, the most of any campaign honored.

The Chicago agency took home the Grand Award for Best Public Service, the Gold WorldMedal Intergroup Relations PSA and the United Nations Department of Public Information Silver Plaque for “Interview/Table/Why,” which dealt with race relations. One ad showed white interviewers dismissing a candidate’s chances for a job because he was African American.
