CHICAGO–Leo Burnett confirmed that Mark Tutssel has been named to the new position of deputy chief creative officer and vice chairman of its U.S. office (Adweek, Oct. 15).

Tutssel, 43, who was previously the joint executive creative director at Leo Burnett London, will report to chief creative officer and agency chairman Cheryl Berman.

In the U.K., Tutssel’s partner Nick Bell will take over as sole ECD.

Tutssel, who starts his new job on Jan. 1., has been with Burnett for 15 years and won a Grand Prix at Cannes in 1997 for work on Mercedes Benz.
