Buick said it will take a more product-focused tack in new spots set to debut Sept. 19 during ABC’s telecast of the Emmy Awards. The work, by IPG’s McCann Erickson, Troy, Mich., supports the new LaCrosse premium sedan and the Terraza crossover sport van. The new spots also mark the “retirement” of the Harley Earl character used in Buick ads for the past two years.
