One teaser spot set to be launched in early January focuses on a TV set in an industrial setting. The TV is replaying scenes of Bud Bowls past starting with the first in 1989.
The TV begins to move and shake as it runs through the different Bud Bowls and as the action in each gets successively rougher. Just as the TV begins to show a shot of the upcoming Bud Bowl VI, a huge claw appears, picks up the TV and smashes it with a giant explosion. The spot then announces Bud Bowl VI is coming Jan. 30.
The spot, directed by Neil Krepela, may draw enough attention on its own, but the exploding TV, which was being shot last week, may be the surprise hit of the teasers. The crew was shooting three takes of the specially-built TVs last week.

No word on which brand may be the favorite to win the Bud Bowl.
