Brogan & Partners here has retained the $5 million Michigan Department of Community Health account after a review that included several agencies from across the state.
The state puts the account up for review at the end of each contract period, and Brogan has survived several similar bid processes, said Bonnie Folster, creative director and partner at the agency.
Brogan’s last contract began three years ago, but the new agreement will span five years.
Other contenders for the account during the latest review included Mars Advertising, Southfield; Simons Michelson Zieve, Troy; and BK&M and Perich + Partners, both in Ann Arbor, according to sources.
