Broadstreet Enlists Development Leader

BOSTON Heather Towsley has joined Broadstreet as director of business development.

The company in Watertown, Mass., provides services including meeting and event management, videos, interactive communications and performance training for brands such as Biogen, Genzyme, Reebok and Staples, among others.

Towsley most recently served as business development director at ISM, an independent travel-focused ad agency in Boston. She helped that shop compete in various reviews, including contests for Fisher Island, Hearts on Fire, Kessler Collection, the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, Shreve, Crump & Low and VisitBritain.

She has 15 years of experience and has helped develop programs for clients in the consumer goods, fashion, entertainment, tourism and political fields.

At Broadstreet, Towsley will provide senior strategic sales and marketing direction for various clients and work on new business.

Originally founded in 1981 as a video and event production firm, Broadstreet today handles various programs for Fortune 500 clients in the financial, pharmaceutical, media, consumer products and technology sectors. It also has offices in New York and London, and operates as a unit of Huntsworth, a global network of communications and PR concerns.
