NEW YORK Bristol-Myers Squibb today is sponsoring the front page of Yahoo! in the U.S. and eight other countries in recognition of World Aids Day.

The pharmaceutical company’s message on the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Web portal encourages people to “add your light to the fight against HIV/AIDS” as a part of its “Light to Unite” campaign.
The ad links to www.LightToUnite.org, where users can light a virtual flame and learn more about the global HIV/AIDS crisis. The site also features information on Reyataz and Sustiva, two prescription drugs from Bristol-Myers Squibb that are used in combination with other medicines to treat HIV and HIV-1, respectively.
