Brian Tierney Moves to Mullen

Brian Tierney, the writer and lead creative director on Garmin’s Super Bowl and “Give a Garmin” holiday campaigns, has joined Mullen in the role of svp, creative director. Tierney, whose other notable work includes the launch of BMW’s Minis Cooper and Burger King’s “Fantasy Ranch ” TV spot, is the latest new hire in Mullen executive creative director Mark Wenneker’s creative department. In addition to Garmin — which he worked on at both Fallon and at his own eponymous agency — Tierney’s brand experience includes Harley-Davidson, Porsche, Apple, Target, Budweiser, Pepsi and Citibank. His agency credits, beyond Fallon, include full-time stints at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Carmichael Lynch and Martin Williams. “Mullen isn’t just another agency with their sights set on being great,” said Tierney. “They’re proving it with the hires they’re making and the business.”
