Brett Joins Adair Greene as CD

Adair Greene has named Rita Brett creative director.

“Rita brings 20 years of solid consumer and healthcare leadership,” said Adair Greene president Rich Levy. “It took 18 months and a cross-country search to find a creative director of this caliber.”

Brett arrives in At-lanta from Lally McFarland & Pantello Euro RSGC in New York, where she served ascreative director and art directoron healthcare accounts that included the global launch of Pfizer and Pharmacia’s Bextra prescription pain medication.

“This an opportunity to work at a fast-moving, midsized agency poised on the brink of great success,” said Brett. “My job is to develop and mentor the talent we have while building on our successes to attract new talent.”

She assumes overall creative responsibility for the IPG shop’s consumer and healthcare units, Levy said.

“We’ve really needed creative and seniormanagement leadership,” said Levy. “Rita will work on everything from our Georgia-Pacific and Novartis accounts to new business.”

Brett, who began her career on the consumer side, has specialized in pharmaceutical brands since 1994, when she joined McCaffrey & Co. in Montclair, N.J.

She subsequently held creative positions at the Parsippany, N.J.-based CommonHealth Group’s Thomas Ferguson Associates and Adient subsidiaries.
