Brandon to Put Habersham on Map

ATLANTA Brandon Advertising said it would provide all advertising, media buying and public relations for the Habersham residential development near Beaufort, S.C.

The independent Myrtle Beach, S.C., shop won the account without a review. Previously, the developer produced all its advertising internally. The ad budget for the work is $280,000.

Habersham is a planned development that is creating a new town of 850 homes on 285 acres along the Broad River in the coastal area of South Carolina. The designer, Duany Plater-Zyberk & Co., also was responsible for the Seaside planned community in Florida.

All the homes in Habersham are built with traditional low-country features, including wraparound porches, manicured lawns and courtyards. New home prices start at about $300,000.

Brandon will create print ads for the community that will begin running next month in issues of Coastal Living and The Wall Street Journal.

“Habersham is on the forefront of new urbanism design,” said Scott Brandon, president of the shop. “I am positive that our expertise in real estate marketing will prove to be a valuable asset to the Habersham community as they continue to pave the way for this fast growing residential concept.”

Brandon, which also has an office in Charleston, S.C., counts Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, Sea Trail Golf Resort and Conference Center, True Blue Golf Plantation, The Reserve at Lake Keowee and South Carolina Camping Association among its clients.
