DALLAS The Dallas Society of Visual Communications has elected its 2004-05 officers and board of directors, the organization said.

The Dallas-based association has appointed Margie Bowles president. Currently president and creative director of local 1400 Words, an agency specializing in strategic message development and copywriting, Bowles will replace DSVC’s immediate past president, Jim Foley.

“My goal is to build on the successes of my predecessors, and elevate public awareness of the importance of visual communication in business and industry,” said Bowles.
