The lure of the silver screen proved too great for Mintz & Hoke’s Chuck Borghese to resist. Borghese is stepping aside as chief creative officer to pursue screenwriting, though he will remain affiliated with the agency and continue to work on some accounts.

Borghese, who co-wrote Barstow 2008, a comedy playing at U.S. film festivals, said the desire to concentrate on films prompted his decision, though he referred further questions to managers of Mintz & Hoke, a 70-person shop in Avon, Conn.,
