LOS ANGELES-Executives at Bondo & Remer Creative Marketing are smiling a little more brightly after a new account win.
Q-pharma, manufacturer of Q-Dent antioxidant toothpaste, has awarded its estimated $12 million creative and media planning account to the Seattle-based shop without a review, according to agency partner and creative director Dave Remer. Previous ads had been handled in-house and by freelancers. Los Angeles-based Western Initiative Media Worldwide is handling media buying.
“Bondo & Remer had an immediate grasp of our breakthrough product, [as well as] the capability to deliver exceptional creative advertising under tight deadlines,” said Jim Robertson, vice president of sales and marketing for Q-pharma, Seattle.
Q-Dent is the first toothpaste on the market to contain Coenzyme Q-10, an antioxidant currently under clinical trial at the Food and Drug Administration to examine the claim that it reverses gum recession caused by gum disease.
“We are excited to work with such focused professionals so committed to success,” said Remer. “The chemistry has been magic since day one.”
The shop will create TV, radio, print and point-of-purchase ads, manage public relations and develop promotions for the client. One print ad, currently appearing in Good Housekeeping and other female-targeted publications, depicts a view inside a mouth. The headline reads, “He’s going to lecture you about your gums again. You just know he is.” ƒ
