NEW YORK Interpublic Group’s Initiative has won national broadcast media buying responsibilities on Boeing’s $15 million account following a review, the client has confirmed. The business will be handled by Initiative’s New York office.

Contenders in the review included the incumbent, independent shop KSL, also in New York, along with Aegis Group’s Carat, sources said. (It’s unclear which Carat office led the pitch.) The client declined to confirm the field of contenders.

IPG’s Foote Cone & Belding in Chicago handles creative duties and media planning for Boeing, which is also based in Chicago.
