IPG’s Initiative has won national broadcast media buying responsibilities on Boeing’s $15 million account, the client confirmed last week. The business will be handled by the shop’s New York office. Initiative bested contenders that included the incumbent, independent KSL in New York, along with Aegis’ Carat in Chicago, sources said. IPG’s Foote Cone & Belding in Chicago handles creative and media planning for Boeing.
