Bob’s Stores Eyes 4 Finalists

BOSTON Four agencies have emerged as finalists in the review for creative chores on the Bob’s Stores ad account.

They are: Tucker Hampel Stefanides & Partners and Arnold, both pitching from their New York offices, North Castle Partners in Stamford, Conn., and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston, according to Pile and Co., the consulting company here that is overseeing the search. The competition will finish up in early April.

The Meriden, Conn.-based clothing chain, a unit of TJX Cos., previously worked with Clarke Goward in Boston. Bob’s spends about $5 million annually on ads.

Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday was awarded Bob’s media chores last month without a review [Adweek Online, Feb. 19].
