NEW YORK — BMW’s “The Hire,” the digital film series that collected top prizes at advertising award shows this spring, will return this fall with three new shorts.

British actor Clive Owen will reprise his role as The Driver, the mysterious chauffeur who takes passengers on a high-powered car chase in a BMW. The new round of films will again be executive produced by David Fincher and produced by Anonymous Content and Fallon.

A hybrid of cinema and campaign, the initial five films debuted last year on BMWFilms.com
