Blue Sky Presents All of Cobb Energy

ATLANTA Blue Sky Agency said it has launched a new broadcast and print ad campaign for Cobb Energy, the first for the company since the shop won the account in a review late last year.

The work includes a 30-second television commercial, a 60-second radio spot, five print executions running in Atlanta-area magazines and billboards. Other elements include direct response, collateral, signage and the Internet.

The independent Atlanta shop created “Everything under the sun” as the campaign tagline.

Cobb Energy primarily sells electricity, but also offers other services like pest control, tree pruning and mortgages. The new campaign is the largest ever for the company and its biggest attempt to promote its related services.

“Blue Sky has moved us to the next level in presenting our brand and developing an integrated long-term strategy that will support us as we seek to expand our footprint in the coming years,” said David Johnson, associate vice president of business operations at Cobb Energy.

The media budget was not disclosed, but sources estimate that the utility is spending more than $1 million on the campaign.

Cobb Energy also is the title sponsor of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre scheduled to open in Atlanta next year.
