DALLAS – Bloom FCA hit the streets over the holidays with a potent new campaign for Mothers Against Drunk Driving that offers alternatives to driving after drinking. Three TV PSAs, and three print ads patterned after those spots, will run throughout 1993 on local and network TV and in magazines and newspapers across the country. In addition, two advocacy print ads call for legislation to make .08 rather than .10 the legal blood-alcohol limit, and for states to automatically revoke driver’s licenses of those who are arrested for drinking and driving. The TV spots use different approaches to urge drinkers to take a cab or call a friend for a ride.
