Black Arts Festival Selects Images USA

ATLANTA Images USA has won a review to provide all advertising and marketing for the 10th annual National Black Arts Festival this summer, the agency said.

The independent Atlanta shop plans to launch a campaign for the event in the spring. The advertising will include national television, radio, print and Internet. Billings were not disclosed.

Fletcher Martin Ewing, an MDC Partners shop in Atlanta, had held the account for the past two years. The shop did not participate in the review.

The National Black Arts Festival is a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta. Scheduled for July 15-24 in Atlanta, it will feature the art and culture of the people of African descent. The festival is funded by contributions from the Fulton County (Ga.) Arts Council and corporate sponsors such as Wachovia, AT&T and Coca-Cola. Last year, more than 500,000 people attended the event.

Images USA has provided market research for the festival in past years, said Robert McNeil, CEO of the shop.
