Foremost Insurance Group awarded its $2-3 million advertising account to Biggs/Gilmore Communications after a review.
The home and auto insurance provider chose the Kalamazoo, Mich., agency because of its direct marketing and interactive experience, said agency president Phil Long. Grant/Jacoby, Chicago, and Mars Advertising, Southfield, Mich., also competed for the account.
In addition to direct and interactive, the agency will also handle print, broadcast and outdoor advertising for the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company.
Foremost spent about $1 million on advertising last year, but already spent more than that over the first five months of this year, according to Competitive Media Reporting.
