Universal Pictures has promoted Julie Berk to svp of creative services at the Universal City, Calif., studio, reporting to Eddie Egan, president of marketing. Berk, former vp of creative services, will expand her responsibilities to cover all aspects of motion picture print advertising for Universal theatrical releases. She formed the creative services department upon joining Universal in 1995 as director of creative advertising.
