NEW YORK Four New York agencies have emerged as finalists in Belvedere Vodka’s U.S. creative review.
Sources identified the shops as Havas’ Euro RSCG, Cossette Inc.’s Cossette, Omnicom Group’s Arnell and the incumbent, WPP Group’s Berlin Cameron United.
The shops have been briefed and will attend “tissue” sessions in the coming weeks, according to sources. Final presentations are slated for late October. Account billings are estimated at $15 million.
Key decision-makers in the process include senior vice president of marketing Jason Lundy and Charles Gibb, president of Millenium Imports, the vodka and rum division of Belvedere parent company LVMH.
Recent Belvedere ads, such as a TV spot featuring actor-director Vincent Gallo, depict the vodka as a high-end brand for rebellious thirtysomethings and employ the tagline, “Luxury reborn.”
Media duties are not in play and remain at Havas’ MPG in New York. Roth Associates in New York is managing the search, which began in August.
