Belgian in Charge of IAF Radio Jury

NEW YORK The International Advertising Festival has named Guillaume van der Stighelen its 2006 Radio Lions jury president.

The Belgian creative, 50, is establishing a New York office of his creative agency, Duval Guillaume, with co-founder Andre Duval. The shop already has offices in Brussels and Antwerp, Belgium.

Van der Stighelen began his advertising career as a copywriter at McCann Erickson in Brussels, and also has worked at TBWA and Young & Rubicam there. He became a global creative director at Y&R in 1986.

He co-founded Duval Guillaume in 1996. Clients include Virgin Airlines, Sara Lee and Carlsberg.

This is the second year the IAF has awarded Radio Lions.

The 53rd International Advertising Festival will take place June 18-24, 2006, in Cannes, France.
