A titillating “Blondes and Beetles” transit campaign began rolling through the streets of Dallas last week.
The bus-side ad executions contrast a busty blonde and a Volkswagen Beetle, with captions labeling one “High maintenance” and the other “Low maintenance.” Two other messages in the series (six versions in all) are “Good curves–Great curves” and “Our American model–Our German model.”
Created by automotive ad specialist Bedford Advertising of Carollton, Texas, for local client Metro Volkswagen, the campaign will include billboard, print and radio components.
