Bartle Bogle Hegarty has promoted John Hadfield to the post of CEO, BBH Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, Hadfield takes on the role after four and a half years as managing director of the office and will report to group CEO Simon Sherwood.

He joined BBH London in 2003 to run the Unilever personal care business across Europe, including Lynx/Axe and Impulse.

The agency has recently landed accounts including global appointments for the Singapore Tourism Board and Perfetti van Melle’s Chupa Chups, as well as regional work for Coca-Cola, Bloomberg Television and Unilever’s Surf laundry detergent.
