BBDO Wins Piece of Bank of America

NEW YORK — BBDO has won creative duties on the Asset Management Group portion of the Bank of America account, a new assignment, the client confirmed. Bozell still handles the main account and did not compete for that portion of the business sources said. Billings were undisclosed.

The assignment was won without a review, said a representative of the Charlotte, N.C., client. The win is a return to the financial investment category for the New York agency, which lost the estimated $85 million Charles Schwab account in April without a review to GSD&M in Austin, Texas.

On Wednesday, BBDO won the $20-30 million Long John Silver fast-food account. In May, added business from Masterfoods, picking up the $20-25 million Skittles brand from D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles. BBDO also handles Masterfoods’ M&Ms and Snickers brands.
