CHICAGO – BBDO Chicago was awarded the creative portion of a new umbrella campaign for Paramount Parks, Charlotte, N.C., a divison of Paramount Communications. BBDO bested Ogilvy & Mather/S.F. and Fahlgren Martin, Cincinnati for the business. There was no incumbent. BBDO will develop an umbrella brand campaign for 1994 for five Paramount-owned parks, which in turn will be adapted by the parks’ local agencies. Media planning and buying will be done by the local agencies.
