NEW YORK Omnicom Group’s BBDO has landed eBay’s U.S. marketing account without a review, just one day after the online auctioneer dismissed Goodby, Silverstein & Partners as its lead ad agency.

The client said it spent $250 million last year on domestic marketing initiatives. Ad spending was $80 million, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

BBDO in New York also handles America Online, but sources said that account was not a conflict. An AOL representative could not be reached for comment.
