BBDO Chicago Cuts Staff

CHICAGO — BBDO’s office here laid off between five and six percent of its 210 person staff, or about 12 people, an agency representative said.

Reduced client spending was blamed for the layoffs, which hit all departments, the representative said.

BBDO Chicago, whose major client is the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co., has had no other layoffs since the ad recession began last year.
