BBDO in Atlanta Hires Broadcast Chief

ATLANTA BBDO said Keith Rose has joined its Atlanta office in the new role of svp, director of broadcast services.

Rose, 44, comes from Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami, where he was a senior integrated producer.

At Omnicom Group-owned BBDO, he will lead the broadcast production department and work to expand its capabilities. He reports to Rob Cherof, evp and CMO at the regional office.

“In the past year, our existing accounts have grown and we’ve picked up new business. As a result, our broadcast needs have grown exponentially,” said Cherof. “In bringing Keith in, we have found someone who has extensive experience producing television while offering a broader approach to advertising and integration.”

At MDC Partners’ CP+B, Rose produced TV and online campaigns for national brands such as Burger King, Miller Brewing and Volkswagen, among others. Rose, who also worked as a broadcast director at Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Winston-Salem, N.C., began his career at Bouvier-Kelly in Greensboro, N.C.

Key clients at BBDO’s Atlanta office include Cingular Wireless, Dell Computer, the Georgia Lottery and ING.
