Bates Churchill Advertising has been selected to develop global brand advertising for Dresser Inc.

The assignment is a rematch for Houston-based Bates, which had worked for the energy systems manufacturer prior to its acquisition in 1999 by Halliburton. A private group led by management successfully bought out the Dresser Equipment Group in April and renamed it Dresser Inc.

BCA’s duties will include developing print, corporate identity and collateral materials.

“The opportunity to build on the Dresser brand, which has been in existence for more than 120 years,is both exciting and gratifying,” said BCA president Bob Wallace.
