ATLANTA–For the second time in seven months, Fletcher Martin Associates here has lost a creative director to a neighboring shop. Bart Cleveland starts his new post today as senior vice president and executive creative director at Atlanta’s Sawyer Riley Compton.
Cleveland, previously executive vice president and executive creative director at Fletcher Martin, replaces Bob Warren, who left SRC to join Henderson Advertising in Greenville, S.C., as that shop’s creative chief [Adweek, March 30].
“In addition to the track record [Cleveland] has in doing great creative wherever he’s been, he fit into our culture to an absolute ‘T,’ ” said SRC president Frank Compton.
SRC is known for its trade marketing expertise, and according to Cleveland, four of five Fletcher Martin ads that received recent recognition from The One Show were for business-to-business clients.
