For Ken Banks, recently named evp, account management director at Doner, taking a senior account position at the shop was a sort of homecoming.

The 58-year-old Detroit native, most recently CEO of KAB Marketing in Largo, Fla., did a two-year stint at Doner in 1978-79, working as an account supervisor on retail accounts such as May Co. and Wickes Furniture.

In his new post at Doner, Banks will manage the $150 million Circuit City account, which the Southfield, Mich.,
