ATLANTA The American Bankers Association said it has awarded its advertising account to Blattner Brunner after a review of several undisclosed agencies.

The independent Pittsburgh-based shop will service the account from its Washington, D.C., office, where the trade organization is headquartered. The incumbent was MDB Communications, an independent D.C. shop.

The advertising budget for the account was not disclosed, but the ABA spent $500,000 in measured media last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence.

Blattner Brunner will produce direct mail and digital ads in addition to print advertising that will run in banking industry trade publications.
