BOSTON–Arnold on Monday named Jim McGinn and Stu Cooperrider as president and creative director, respectively, of its 40-person office in San Francisco.

Both executives move from the Havas-owned agency’s headquarters in Boston. McGinn served as an svp, group account director, working on Alcatel and EMC. Cooperrider had been an svp, creative director on Alcatel and the Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health Tobacco Control Program. Their replacements have not been named.

The top position at Arnold’s Bay Area outpost had been vacant since last November, when Penny Baldwin left to assume the position of president, CEO of Young & Rubicam, San Francisco.
