Greg Andersen is the new managing director of Rapp, Los Angeles, replacing Tony Hobley, who becomes global leader on the agency’s HP client.

Andersen was most recently the chief executive of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, U.S., where he launched the agency’s L.A. office. He joined the Publicis Groupe shop in 2006 to found and develop its engagement planning department. Andersen was promoted to New York managing director in 2008 and became CEO in 2010.

Rapp global CEO Bob Horvath described Andersen as a “pivotal hire” at the Omnicom marketing/digital CRM agency.
