MOORHEAD, MINN – American Crystal Sugar Co. here started reviewing agency responses last week to a questionnaire issued just before the holidays for its estimated $1-3-million advertising, pr and collateral account. Agencies contacted were Bozell Worldwide, BBDO, Colle McVoy, Carmichael Lynch Advertising and Martin/Williams. Fallon McElligott parted ways with the sugar company last summer. Although previous ad spending has been estimated at less than $500,000, sources say the company is looking to expand into new markets and will substantially increase spending in 1993.
