BOSTON Dunkin’ Donuts has tapped RF Binder to handle its $1-2 million national public relations business, the client confirmed.

The Canton, Mass.-based client had issued requests for proposals to approximately eight undisclosed PR agencies. Omnicom Group’s Fleishman-Hillard in New York was the incumbent on the account.

At the start of the review, a client representative said the company was seeking a firm with strong brand-building experience.

RF Binder is based in New York.

The PR review did not have an impact on Dunkin Donuts’ lead advertising agency, Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston.
